For those of you that had their dashes replaced, did/do you notice a strong order in your truck now?

Damn if the inside of my truck doesn't smell like a B.O. now! It almost has a rubbery smell to it, so thinking it's from the VOC's being emitted from the new pvc dash.

Drives me nuts and it's a little embarrassing when someone gets in my truck...

PS, I shower dialed, use deodorant and otherwise do not have any other body smells.

Maybe the technician left his sweat rag behind the dash!

 

I did have a little bit of "new car smell" which was the plastic off-gassing. But it didn't last long.

I wish it was a new car smell!

The only other thing I can think of is my wife left the back window partially down last year and the carpet got wet, but I've sprayed with biocide carpet cleaner etc without much luck.
