Default Dash Creaks

It's completely against my better judgement, but I am tempted to have to TSiB's performed for my dash creaks in the near future (I'd like to have this performed at the same time the real wind noise fix is available as well). There is nothing like factory work, and I hate breaking the virgin seal, but the random creaks are DRIVING ME UP A WALL! I think it's the issue of the dash area contacting the window frame. There are multiple TSiB's out there for both a cutting of the dash connection pins as well as felt lined tabs for replacement across the dash area. Has anyone experienced these issues and trusted lexus with the service? How has your post surgery experience been thus far?

I had the TSIB done where they replaced the original tabs with the felt lined ones. I was having a pretty bad rattle in the dash by the winshield and it was driving me nuts as well. Reno Lexus did a fantastic job on my car. The rattle was completely eliminated and I couldn't even tell they had the dash off. I haven't experienced the other creaks in my '07 LS. Good luck!

Same thing here. They replaced the tabs with felt-covered ones last January together with the fuel rail tsb. Now, it's rattle free!

Thanks for the input! I'm so cautiously excited about the outcome. More to come!

The dealers now jamb foam between the glass and the dash to fix it quick and not removing the dash. Thats how they fixed mine. Lexus must own a foam plant somewhere. So far three different repairs were fixed on my car including the wind noise using foam. I told the dealer I expect my car to float now.

Oh boy. Well I downloaded the TSiB's that I want done to show that that I have half a clue. I hope it registers... The foam solution has experienced less that stellar results from things I've read on random sites... I love the floating comment though!

They actually removed the dash on my car and inserted new tabs. In the process, they didn't reconnect the gps antenna cable properly and it fell off a couple of weeks ago. I brought the car to the dealership today and they reconnected the gps antenna so all is fine.
