What is a fair price to pay for new front shocks and installation for 2007 GX? My mechanic said one is leaking and recommended replacing both front shocks. Thank you.

 

Lexus Atlanta is showing $238 each for the shocks themselves. These are the OEMs with the adjustable dampening. You can go aftermarket and they'll be less, but won't have that feature.

You probably should replace them in pairs - if one goes, the other probably isn't far behind. Plus there's the whole ride safety thing...

I paid ~ $100-110/each for adjustable Bilstein 5100s at a local shop. I can't recall installation price. Maybe 1.5-2 hrs labor for both?
