my 2005 gx 470 had an issue with navigation screen. I could not get past the disclaimer screen. The lexus logo kept displaying and then going away. When it did stop at the discliamer screen - the touch screen would not respond at all. I contacted my dealer with little help. I contacted local car audio business and they recommended to bring it in and take it apart to complete full diagnositcs. Solution: after pressing local dealer i was able to contact a local person who came and reset the system and everything worked. To fully reset the system need to disconnect battery and then he connected the battery cables for 30 seconds with a wire. after system restarted and reset all was good. spent $25 instead several thousand. Your dealership should perform this simple reset before replacing any equipment. Hope this helps

You could of done this for free... take both poss and neg off the batt and touch them together... re-connect
