on my 330i top limiter is around 130mph - -removed though a chip ....tops at 155mph (same as european specs) - - but tires are Z rated otherwise get some good life insurance...

GX speed limited to 112mph- - you can probably remove it fairly easily but Michelin Cross Terrains not speed rated for much higher so would be very cautious...(...why push an SUV at that speed...)

Don't know if "Joshua" is pulling our leg or not, but GX owners take a look at your speedometers... Don't know about your GX but on my 05' model the last printed number on the dial is 130 and the dashes stop there also,.

Josh, might have been driving the EXPERIMENT X-GX470...

I've had my '05 right at the triple digit mark (also in the desert). It felt like it was going to lift off the road. Very spooky at that speed, even in the 'sport' mode. Lots of wind and engine noise (maybe I was pushing into a head wind or something). Front end feels real loose. It probably had more in it (up to the 112), but I didn't explore that limit.

I am happy to keep it down at just a nudge over the speed limits out here in the desert, this truck was definitely not designed for speed. And with the way it gets tossed around in a cross wind, I'd hate to be clipping along at that rate and hit a side gust. I am thinking it could make a longer flight than the Wright brothers if that happened

My ES is electronically limited at 143 MPH. With 225 HP, I don't think this car will get within 20 MPH of that speed.

You my friend are a lier, you don't even own a Lexus. You wish you have a Lexus. If you did have one you should know the Gx470 is electronically limited to 112MPH.

Stop sucking on exhaust gas! Get a life!
