Question Lights out

Hi,

I have few questions and thanks in advance.

How do I go about changing DAC switch bulb, can I just use a trim tool and pull it out, or do I need to take the center console out?

2. My mirror adjustment bulb is out and have the same questions, pull the switch out or pull the entire trim out.

I have done other bulbs, hazard I had to pull the trim and do it from the inside, however the differential lock I just pulled it from top and changed the bulb.

Thanks Again.

Yes for the DAC you have to remove the center console. It's held in by 2 larger clips and you need a flat head to push them in to release them. You can try using a trim tool from the top but as easy as it is to remove the center console trim I wouldn't risk damaging the switch.

There's pressure clips holding the center console trim in and literally takes seconds to remove.

To get the mirror switch out remove the fuse panel cover below it, reach a finger or two up and push it from the back. It'll pop right out.

I just came back from the garage and Radio Shack for bulbs, and I did exactly what you said. It worked out perfectly. I do want to point out 1 thing.

The bulb for Mirror switch is bigger than rest of the bulbs. I did use the radio shack bulb and it works, but looks dim. DAC switch illuminates perfectly. Will go back and look for slightly bigger bulb.

Thanks again.
