Default conversion kit for gx470

I have a 2008 gx 470. Rear air suspension had gone down and would not come back up. Light on dash says in N and switch wont move it either way. I take it to Toyota place and they tell me i need new dryer and compressor to the tune of $2568.00. I wasnt ready to fork out that kind of money. So i did some reserch and found conversion kits to put under lexus and from alll the reviews i read that should do the trick. I went ot pick up truck at Toyota and they tell me that they adjusted the height but didnt know how long it would make it. She said it may go out when i hit a bump. How did they adjust it at all when i couldnt even get it to come on at all? Soes anyne know how they reset this problem? I have a kit coming in couple of days and will put in shop when it comes but would love to know how to reset in case i get in bind again. Any help???

Dryer?? Either you misheard them, or they're talking about the air conditioner. Or they're just babbling. No dryer on the rear air suspension.
No way to adjust it to compensate either. If the compressor is dead, the air suspension won't adjust, and I imagine you'd lose height over time just through leaks around the piston in the compressor.

Actually there is a dryer in the system after the compressor.
