Default springs

im deciding of changing my stock springs to eibach pro kit.... and i have 19 inch wheels... but i like the stock gap in the rear and not the fronts... im deciding to lower only the fronts with the eibachs not the rears.... what do you guys think about that decision?

i would never suggest that. you should always get matching springs front and rear, otherwise the ride might be very funny due to the difference

I agree, the spring rates for aftermarket springs are totally different from that of oem springs. It's better to have a matched set of springs.

I'm gonna chime in on this one because I received a lot of criticism for wanting to do the same. I used L-tuned (which are basically the same springs). I bought them from Sewell Lexus because they have a whole bunch of front springs only for sale. I picked the pair up for $60 shipped. I lowered only the front because the back was sitting the way I wanted it due to all the stuff and sub bux I have in my trunk. Let me tell you, you will feel the difference when going over bumps and such but not a major difference. The handling will be better and I experienced that I lost that floating feeling on the highway. The car doesn't feel horrible like most people will tell you on here. I did it and I like the way my car looks and handles. If anything, if you only do the fronts and get bad handling or something, you're getting the whole set, I would assume unless you get just the fronts from Sewell Lexus, so you could just put the rears in as well. But you're best bet is try it, if you don't like it then put the rears in as well. And if you want to do it yourself like I did the only thing that you will probably need to buy is a spring compressor, I picked one up at Autozone for like $37-38. Good luck.

Hey Kandel, I noticed that Sewell have 40 sets of L-Tuned front springs on Ebay for sale. The whole lot for $900.00 bucks. I wonder what happened there. Maybe they just took them all off TRD hand. P

Yea I've been seeing those on eBay for some time now. I forgot what they told me when I called to order mine. But it was a good deal for me because that's all I was looking for was some front springs, I figured other people might want the same deal.
