Ok, the wife and I have been talking and we decided to let go of our 04 LS430. It's been a phenomenal car, we're really gonna miss it. We have been looking at the GX470, it seems to be the better fit since we already have the 460L. What should we be looking for as far as price, options etc. I'm big on maintenance so any car that has over 100k I'm looking for maint history, accidents etc. any feedback is welcomed.
Most GXs come with Navi and third row seats, so if you don't want them, you'll be looking hard and long to find one without. They are out there, but definitely on the uncommon side of things. With 100k, regardless of maintenance, you can pretty much count on having to do something with the air springs or shocks, pump levelers, etc.
Other common things in that mileage range would be the CV boots, radiator leaks and probably some bad AC servo motors. Other than those things, I can't really think of much else to look for. I'm sure others will chime in.

I noticed the exact opposite when I bought my GX in 2012 in Houston. It took me a little while to find one that had Navi, I found PLENTY without though. I guess it all depends on where you live.

Well, I got all the issues with the 430 ironed out but I still thinks it's that time. Been going back and forth between an older LX470 and a GX470. I like the LX personally but the wife likes the GX.

I had an LX and loved it! I remember going in to register it for the first time and the woman working the desk saying... "it can't possibly weigh that much"
Check if the Rear Drive Shaft Assy has been replaced, as the Clunk has been a major issue among the First Gen GX. And check for any leaks around the 4WD Actuator, this one a freakish job to get it done.
