Hello, I'm new to the forum. I just bought a 2003 GX with127k. When on the expressway, the suspension feels a little unruly. When I hit a bump or a dip in the road, it feels like the truck rocks back and forth or from corner to corner. It feels like you're being hit with a big gust of wind from the side. Does this sound like a shock issue or is it from another suspension component? If shocks, is there anyway to check them for wear or failure? Thanks in advance.

 

I have the same problem with my gx '04...I also would like to know what the problem is. All I know is that you are looking at $2,000 to replace all the shocks.

 

Just get some fjcruiser or 4runner shocks.
