Yes, I didn't unplug anything. I did hear my compressor run for 15 seconds yesterday. I used the instructions that came with metaltech DIY kit. You can also find a step by step on this site. I wouldn't go FJ OEM springs as they are too soft for the weight of the GX. I'm getting my toy-tech super flex 2" springs installed tomorrow.

I would look into this. I really don't know the reason why they want you to take off the fuse. (Engine bay). I will look for my instruction manual.
I probably going with KYB front and rear shocks that another member use. Another thread.

Maybe it's because I the FJ springs didn't actually lift the back up??? Who knows. I went with the bilsetein 5100's and toytech FJ springs front and rear. You can't go wrong with a Bilstein product.

Which fuses do you pull to eliminate all the lights that would come on as a result of the shock and airbag removal.

There's a 20A fuse under the dash labeled TEMS. Remove it and should work.
