Default Center console lights - specifically heated seats/diff lock

Hey all, first post here. Proud owner of a new (to me) 2004 GX. Love the truck but I have a question:

Are the buttons on the lower part of the center console (heated seats, center diff lock, ride height adjustment, etc) supposed to be lit? It seems like all the other buttons are lit up but these. Perhaps I have a blown fuse?

Thanks!

The heated seat buttons light up when you turn them to "on" position. When center diff lock is "on", see display on dash light up.

Yes they light up, and yes those bulbs blow out. I have replaced more than a few in the truck. They are VERY easy to replace.

Simple to replace. Those were the first to go out in ours.

My driver side seat heater lights up sometimes. If I tap it then it lights up. And the center diff has never lit up before. And welcome to the Lexus family!!!

I replaced the light in the differential lock switch and the ride height with blue led light that I ordered from superbrightled. These switches and the DAC can easily pop out with a small flat head screw driver to replace the burnt out lights.

I need to change out the lights on the heated seat switch, I would be able to pop up the switch but the harness is not long enough for me pull out the whole unit so therefore I could not get to the light to replace it. My question is can I just pop out the panel that hold the heated seat switches and differential lock, cigarette lighter instead off have to remove the other panels before get to it. Any helps would greatly appreciate.

Randy20g and Pearlpower, can you post a write-up, preferably with part numbers for the lights, or at least the store where you bought/ordered them from.

Thank you in advance.

Hello everybody, I have not try to replace the lights in the heated seat switchs yet because the blue led lights, that I ordered from superbrightled, are little bit too long to fit in the switch. I only managed to fit only two leds in the two switches, check out the picture on my above post. I have not figure out how to take the heated seat switch out yet, but when I do I will let everybody know how. You can get the factory light bulbs for the switches from Sewell.
