Default Question re KDSS

I am getting some conflicting info on the KDSS option. Can someone set me straight

1) KDSS is rare. You need to eyeball the actual suspension to figure out whether a gx has it
2) all sports packages have KDSS but sports packaged GXs are rare

or

1) KDSS is not rare; it is that adjustable ride comfort **** (next to the transmission shifter) that I've seen on every GX I've tested

Thanks in advance

KDSS on a non-sport is very rare.

Sport models are pretty rare compared to how many non-sports were made. At the time of buying mine in 05, it was like one per dealership (if that).

and

All GX's have the ride comfort ****

I'm planning on buying around xmas time. I guess I'll just have to look for a sport and get what I can get. I like the navy on tan with the birds eye, so hopefully i can find that.

if not my best friends mom has an 04 with 92k on it as of right now so since its my friend and they are pretty wealthy im sure they would sell it to me cheap

yep, you can eyeball the swaybars & linkage in the front. The sways on the KDSS trucks are super beefy -- visibly bigger than the non KDSS. That, and the way the sway attaches to the subframe is different too, but that's tougher to describe.

Nice pic. Thanks for the hand. I think I have the GX bug now, any lines on a good used gx with a sports pack?

Nice ride but I'm in Cali. I dislike wood trim so sports pack is a big plus

Also the Lex dealers here are blowing out some GX so the pricing could be better on the rig. Just an FYI

May be selling my 06 GX w/sport pack (KDSS) - loaded every option. Dark blue with ivory interiory & black birds eye maple. Not in CA but could maybe work something out if interested... Sounds like the combo you may be looking for.
