Default New member Hello

Just wanted to say hello, and I look forward to learning from many of you. I just bought an 05 gx with 37K miles on it, for 26500. Its a one owner truck that sure looks to be in great shape. It has 20 inch chrome wheels that I plan on getting rid of. I just picked up 4 oem wheels for $300. Anyway, just wanted to say hello from Az.

Default Hi from Flag

Hi swatbob, Congrats on your purchase. Sounds like a great deal on a low mileage GX. Where did you find it? I just joined a few days ago and my wife & I are looking for a GX. This site has a lot of good info. Cheers, Ed.

Welcome to the Club! Great choice in vehicle and it seems like you got a hell of a deal on a low mileage '05. Post the wheels in the GX for sale section, someone here may want to buy them.

Thanks Guys. I found it on autotrader at a local bmw dealership. In my experience, it seems that when you look at a high end used car from its own dealership brand, they seem to want more for it. Anyway, happy hunting.

Shopping tip I've read which is exactly the same as above - if you are looking for xyz brand of car, go buy it from used from abc dealership. Other dealerships will always price a competitor's car cheaper than the original brand's dealership.

Maybe it is just me, but I prefer to buy from the original owner. Talk to the person. Find out if he/she is a car enthusiast. Get the history of the vehicle, and the maintenance receipts. See what other cars he/she has, and how they are kept. Etc. Etc.
