Alaska/Canada NAV maps?

Alaska/Canada NAV maps?
Does anyone know if the 9.1 upgrade has AK maps FOR A GEN 3 (though a late 2004 GX 470 with kinetic suspension, Mark Levinson sound, etc) system?
I see on the Lexus site that the 9.1 says it does have AK, and HI, but only for Gen 5 and above, can anyone confirm if this is true or if I have chance of seeing anything but a worthless blank screen on a 2004 GX 470 navigation screeen.
I've searched here extensively without any real answer.

I was looking around last night and found the PDF file to the latest release and everything that was new--I did not see any mention of ALASKA again---that reallly sucks.
SO I dont know what you seen on the Lexus site--but I hope you are right?
