Isn't that a 6.5" speaker with the broken surrounds? and i think the 6x9" are the rears? If so, there are plenty 6.5" 8ohms out there i believe.

 

No, that's a 6x9 with the destroyed surround, and they did come out of the front doors.

 

the last pic's angle made it look like it was 6.5" my bad. I'm sure you can find adapters for 6x9" and purchase 6.5" speakers. I've always heard that 6.5" are better than 6x9" speakers.

I just replace both of mine as they were blown just like yours. Just got my GX 6 weeks ago. It was a Florida rig so maybe the heat had something to do with it?
I got them for about $135 each from Sewell Lexus parts vendor with there club discount.

While I was in there I added some dynomat for better insulation. I also checked there middle door speakers and they were fine but I also added dynomat since I was in there.

Its all good now!

 

I also ordered mine from Sewell, and supposedly got the club lexus discount. It would appear that you got a better deal, since I paid about $325 shipped for the pair.

 

I think they had some price changes and some went up and others went down. I got lucky!
