I don't know about the warranty but it couldn't hurt to ask.

I noticed the last time I was at the local Lexus and Toyota dealers here that they were pitching a treatment that 'promised' to restore the clarity to headlight lenses that have developed a haze - that might be worth looking in to.

On some of my cars I've had the 'clear bra' treatment to the hood and headlights. The headlights on the cars 'with' have stayed crystal clear - while all the others show some degree of haze. I'm not claiming the clear bra helps or not 'cuz I don't have any real test data - just passing on my observation.

Haze or yellowing of the headlights is due to the interaction of the plastic with the suns UV and IR. The most famous example is the '90s Jeep Grand Cherokee. Due to the materials, the shape and angle of the lens, it caused the yellowing or hazing to occur most often within the first 3 years. Covering the lenses with clear bra or other similar treatments decreases the plastic exposure and extends the life span of the lens, but will not ultimately eliminate the yellowing or hazing. There are companies out there that sell lens restoration kits, most of which are abrasive, which claim to restore your lenses to like new appearance. I have no clue how good they are. The interesting thing here is that I have an '06 and I don't see any change in the clarity or transparency of my lenses. OP - How old is your truck? You mention 2 years on your headlights?

My GX is a 2004, in 2007 I had replaced both head lamps due to pits from a trip , and now only one head lamp is hazed , Lexus or body shop or dealer will do nothing to help , Lexus has a 1 year warranty , I'm so mad.... the body shop is saying Lexus should take care of their customers , also tells me the Dealership is a huge problem to deal with , so here I am stuck with a bad headlamp , the cost to replace is like $600.00 , and who's to say it'll not happen again ,

I have experienced the same thing....As i do lot of long rides and haze or rustic look is becuuse of the sand particles having its impact on the headlamps and bursting at miniscule form. Over a period of time discoloration happen. Guess what, I went in for a restoration kit by Meguiar called Plastx... Guys you will not believe until you use this product. The products suggest the Meguiar cloth, I went one up and used the polish hammer brush used by pro autopaint guys. The finish was just like the day i got my GX from the dealer.
