Ok so before my factory warranty expired, my right headlight had condensation problem and the dealer replaced it no question asked. Right before factory warranty ended, I purchased the 6 years, 70,000 miles extended warranty from Jerry. ( I think most of you guys probably bought it from him).

Recently I found out the left headlight started having condensation problem, and the dealer said the extended warranty does not cover headlight unit, only the goodwill warranty covers the headlight. Is this true or the dealer dont' know what they are saying ? I thought the extended warranty we bought from Jerry is no different than the factory warranty. Any thoughts ?

Yep, the extended warranty does not cover headlight condensation.
Look up the Warranty fine print, it's in there.

Just got reply from the dealer, "WE ARE GOING TO GOODWILL THE LEFT SIDE HEAD LIGHT UNIT FOR YOU" so if i'm reading this correctly...dealer will still replace it for free..!? lol

^^ Yes, goodwill means they'll cover it even though the warranty does not. Glad to hear it worked out.

u need the plat warranty extension.

Yeah i do have the extended plat warranty, not sure if it covers the headlights tho...ill talk to my dealer on friday to see if it does.
