Default Driveshaft Replacement great results!!!

In 2008 we bought a 4 year old GX 470 with 33 k miles. The car was in excellent condition. Everything was perfect except when you make a full stop you feel like a push or hit from behind. For a very long time I couldn’t figure out what it was. I complained to my mechanic and he said that he has no idea what it is. And thanks to clublexus.com I figured out that it was the drive shaft. So when I called Lexus of Beverly Hills their response was that they have never heard about any recalls about this problem on this vehicle. I called Lexus of El Monte, and their response was that they need to do a road test and the most they can do is to lubricate the drive shaft. I called a few Lexus dealership in my area and they all offered lubrication. Finally, I called my favorite Keyes Lexus on Van Nuys and spoke to the service advisor Anthony; he told me right away that they are aware about this recall for drive shafts; they even have them in stock. So I showed up on Friday at 7.30 am,( I even mention that I am clublexus member), and to my surprise they gave me a brand new Lexus RX400 Hybrid loaner vehicle with 3k miles. It was the only Hybrid on the whole lot. At 2.30 pm my car was ready. By the way Lexus RX 400 hybrid drives very smooth. I enjoyed this car a lot. But I couldn’t wait to get my GX 470 back.

Now my car drives like a dream when I come to the full stop I don’t feel any push from behind. I am very happy with Keyes Lexus.

Eugene.

thats back when they were changing the control arms with the driveshaft. only changing the driveshaft is what you want.
