I gave my teenager's friend a ride and she jumped in the back and broke the plastic duel cupholder (with full drinks spilled everywhere). Does anyone know where I can obtain a used one? Crown Lexus wants $1020.00 for a new replacement. Wow, that's alot to hold some drinks!

Thats a pretty common problem with kids, that rear arm rest doesnt rest on the seat and if you put too much weight on it, it will give. All I can suggust is look in the junk yards and find a use one. I am assuming one can replace just the armrest and not the whole rear seats.

 

Was wondering if anyone had any luck replacing only the rear cupholder???

Broke mine and I have not been able to find one is a scrape yard. any suggestions outside of paying Lexus $800.00 for a new armrest/cupholder?

 

i wish you luck finding it. i had to scour the internet when i broke a piece of the woodgrain dash in my GX. i found it on ebay for @$180....that beats paying $400+

 

I have 2008 gx470 and my rear armrest cupholder broke. Got an estimate of $1200+ to replace the entire leather arm rest with cupholder from the dealer. I did not think it would cost that much!!! I am actualy surprised. I thought it would be simple to replace the cupholder front of the arm rest. It seem like a new one can be replaced easily into the arm rest. The arm rest itself is perfect. According to the dealer there is no other way, the whole arm rest needs to be replaced just to get the new cupholder and for a1200+, not worth it! Anyone any suggestions??
