I guess that it snows in your neck of the woods...but do you live by the ocean also?

I have an '05 too, but not rust like that. Salt is the worst. If it snows alot around you and they salt alot, that could explain it.

It's surface corrosion, when you can break a piece off then it's bad

greetings also from PA (the other wrong side though ) Anyhow, seeing as though it's mostly on the frontal wear portions and with all the s#it they spread here in winter, yes it looks pretty normal... er... it looks normal compared to my '04

Check warranty. I believe the GX has a "no rust" guarantee. Either way, when I detail my vehicle, I drive it up on ramps and rinse the undercarriage with a power washer.

I thought the No Rust Warranty only covered the paint on the car?

Rust warranty on most cars is for penetrating rust, not surface rust.

My '04 looked almost like that in '05 after only one winter (albeit a very snowy one). It should all be surface rust and nothing to worry about, though upon initially discovering it back then, I did worry.

The undercarriage of the GX is "strong like bull" .
