Turn Signal Bulb Replacement
I haven't personally changed mine, but I did put in the XD HID conversion kit. Anyhow, to access the back of the housing to change the headlights, just pull the plastic liner under the hood/behind the grill (7-10 plastic clip/retainers which pull right up plus 2 extra ones on the passenger side connecting it to the plastic cover that leads up to the firewall). Once the retainers and shield are out, you'll have access to the back of the light housing. From there, you'll be able to tell which bulb is which. Unless you 'know' you make 3-4 times more right turns than left.... you should replace the same bulb on the opposite side or you'll most likely get to repeat pulling the liner in short order
Gets a little tight on the driver's side due to the battery but you've got a ballroom on the passenger side.... Good luck

That thread says that you get to it from the ground under the front bumper. Someone else said they have done it from the top under the hood. So looks like both ways are possible. My suspision is that doing it from the top requires small hands and is a tight squeeze, so from under the bumper may be easier.
Now thats obviously for the front signal.
Were you talking about the rear? If so it may be the same process, but I think that someone said you can get to it from inside the truck.
