GX Alternator
I never thought about looking at the owner's manual but thanks!!! Reason i ask is because i have an audio system in my gx and i just wanted to know some specs of the alt. Now i need to go google about the factory battery.

Most stock alternator/battery is good enough for most aftermarket audio equipment as long as you don't go crazy and add 12 amps and 12 subwoofers! Remember, your stock Mark Levinson amp is probably aftermarket quality in terms of it's draining power. If you have just two aftermarket amps (one for woofer and tweets and one for sub), then you should be good to go. Or if you're just adding a sub + amp, then i think that you're OK.

I have not but this time i was messing around some more at night time. This was when i notice that my lights were slightly dimming and so i'll be doing the big 3 soon to see if it helps out any. If it doesn't then i'll be buying a 2nd battery, that i know should stop the dimming. When i go back to Auburn this fall, i'm going to upgrade my system to 2 12" re se with a pa3000d amp so i know dif. then i will have to get bigger wires and a 2nd battery for sure. I just never notice the dimming until last night.
