Which HID Kit
Install still takes 1.5-2 hours if taking your time. When I installed mine, I would have liked another 12" or so on the +12V lead (especially on passenger side). It gets a little snug mounting the ballast, relay and ignitor by the battery but they do fit nicely - plan it out before you drill any holes or mount anything.
I've never had any issues w/ my dealer on my kit even w/ our annual rigid state inspections.
Enjoy the kit and know Steve from XD is great to deal with.

Did you remove the battery when installing your kit? I have Remote starter on my truck and don't know if there is a problem if I disconnect the battery. Is it possible to install it without removing the battery? Thanks for your advices.

Yes. If you have the OEM battery (size 27F - or 24F in warm climates), it'll be damn near impossible mounting the ballast and relay between the battery and fender w/ it connected. You shouldn't have any issues w/ your remote start by disconnecting the battery. You may have some type of re-initialization procedure (as you will on the power windows) but the steps are fairly simple. For the windows (auto up/down) all you need to do is open and close each window in sequence from the switch located in the door itself. Sequence is... driver's door, passenger front, passenger rear, driver's rear, then sunroof. The 'next' switch to be initialized flashes in case you forget the sequence. All can be safely done while enjoying a well earned beer while sitting in the driver's seat

Thanks for you cool trick. I just installed my 5K this morning and then went thru the reinitialize procedure and definitely not even spill a drop of beer.
Guys with the 470's! Do you have the 4300 or the 5K HID kit? trying to decide what will look good on my white GX? Does the 5K kit have a lot of blue tint on the road or just a nice bright white to it?
What about the 4300K owners--have you swaped bulbs to the 5K and did you like it?

see page 2 of this thread for my comments 4300k vs 5000k.
I have a 5000k in my GX and 4300k (OEM) in my GS...
In a nutshell, each matches for vehicle they are on as my GS is Starfire Pearl (white) and my GX is Meridian Blue Metallic.

Yes and no. On most dry nights visibility is pretty much same and I find neither much better or worse than other. However, on very dark rainy or snowy nights, a wet roadway is a bit harder to see w/ the 5000k vs the 4300k. YMMV
