My 2006 GX has nearly 20K miles on it, it clunks into gear under certain conditions.
It seems to happen when coasting at any speed and then engaging the throttle, like entering a highway from an “on ramp”. There is a "clunk" as if the transmission is unsure what gear it should be in.
Just to note: I did get the original clunk TSB repaired, new drive shaft and rear axle control links - I was one of the lucky ones.
Anyway, earlier in the car's life, the clunk occurred only once in a while. Now it seems to happen quite often. I hope this isn't the beginning of the end of my xmsn.
Is anyone else experiencing this?

Sure does sounds like your transmission is slipping like HoboGX said. I bet the cluck happens when the transmission upshift from a certain gear to the next gear. try to count your shifts when you are accelarating, if it clucks all the time at a certain gear, then its your transmission.
