Why is it that when folks post a photo of a GX, they almost always black-out the numbers on the License Plates / Tags ??

Whenever I see Lexus' on the street or in driveways, the numbers are visible and are not covered over.

Am I missing something ??

People talk a great deal about the mods that they have done on their cars. If you tell everyone on the internet that you have $$$ wheels, or 10k worth of audio/video in your car it would be very easy for someone to troll the forums and get your address with your plate #. Then they could just come and get it.

That, and we are all just paronoid
