Default Vacation pics

I just got back from a road trip from the Bay Area California to Sedona Arizona. The GX performed flawlessly in 110 degree heat. It may have been hotter but that’s all the temperature will read up to. We got to explore some old mining roads around the town of Jerome

And here we are crossing the Hoover Dam on our way to Vegas

We just got home on Monday from Vegas. Nice pics. One thing I noticed in Vegas was there was alot of GX around. At our hotel there were at least 6 parked in the reserved spots at the hotel. The door man say they are pretty popular among the rich set. I see drove over the dam, we took a helicopter ride. Traffic was too much. Wish we had our GX to take through the desert.

Nice pics. If front windows are tinted... what manufacturer, model, and percent of tint did you use on the front windows (e.g. 3M color-stable 35%)? Did you only tint the fronts or rears too? thanks.

Nice pics. Always fun to get the truck on different roads. And yes ... the temp will display higher temps. I think the highest I have seen is 116. I am sure there are people in this forum from the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, who can tell you the max. Now that is probably the hottest populated area I know of ....

Thanks for the compliments guys

I had the front windows tinted with Johnson films 35%. I didn't want to go too dark. I wanted it to look somewhat factory so the local police don't give me a hard time.

In my Yakima box I was able to take about all our luggage and motorcycle helmets. that way we could have the Ice chest and road snacks in the back with us.
