Default Wallet rotated, not tires

I had Lexus of Wilmington, DE perform 15K service on my GX. I was charged for Tire Rotation and a bunch of other work, but the tires were not rotated. My RR tire had a missing valve stem cap, the wheel and tire are still in the same location. So, somehow the tech was able to get brake lining measurements without pulling a wheel?

I feel as though nothing was even checked on my car and it burns me up. I guess I will have to pay an independent shop to analyze all Lexus dealer work in the future.

I'm disgusted by this lazy Lexus technician (15955) and the dealership, Lexus of Wilmington, DE, who condones this bum short cutting customers.

Take digital photos or mark items you know they will have to repair, replace, or rotate, before you drop off your car. If the items they billed you for were not done, email Lexus Customer Satisfaction.

My advice is talk to the service manager and explain that you are not satisfied. if you don't get resolution, then go to the district rep. lexus will not want a vocal pissed off customer

How did you know they were not rotated, did you mark the tires or something?

My RR tire had a missing valve stem cap, the wheel and tire are still in the same location

If he rotated them, the tire with the missing cap would have moved to a new location. I did talk to the manager and wrote Lexus and they claim the tech didn't "remember" rotating them. My question is - Did he remember doing anything?

The world is full of scammers, the cars and trucks may be Lexus - but the people working on them are Yugo.

I have long suspected the dealership that I take the truck to, does the same thing. I blame myself for going brain dead at the time of dropping it off for service and not being emphatic about not performing and charging for tire rotation.

Relax man and breathe.

You said you spoke with the service manager, did he offer you a resolution?

When I took my truck in for the 5000 mile check up well it was really only 4200 when they got it but it had been stolen so they came up and got it early and while there they did the service. I suspected that my tires were not rotated at that time also but couldn't prove it.

This time I painted the inside of the tires with RF, LF, LR, RR so they had no choice but to rotate them. But when it was brought back (which is a 20 mile hike one way) they didn't do what I had requested them to do so I sent it back and told them when they returned it I think maybe they should put some gas in it. In total they put 138 miles on the truck. I had showed the driver the problem, wrote a detailed letter explaining the problem and also spoke to the service manager 3 times on this and it still wasn't done. I was fumming.

I don't think I will be back for service and told them that. For my 10,000 mile check up I was charged 171.00 which I think it off the wall. I wasn't ever charged anything like that for my Cadillac Escalade for either of those services.

Not to mention it's like pulling teeth for them to order me touch up paint.

I did get a call back from the customer service rep and I told him what had happen and he was in agreement with me and told me that when I take my truck to get it fixed by my other place if there is a bill he will pay for it.

That's fine but I won't be back there for service. You just can't seem to trust anyone anymore.
