does it have RCA output in the back?

i'm asking becasue i have a kicker mono amp and JL audio 12 inch sub that's been sitting in my storage for about a year. I couldn't fit it in my previous car so i had left it there but now that I have a suv with room to spare I may consider installing it in my GX.

for those of you with a amp/sub installed, how did you go about installing?

pull signal from rear speakers into amp's speaker input?

No RCA output in the back. You can pull a signal from rear speakers or sub, hopefully you have line level inputs in the amp

 

oh i didn't know GX had seperate sub. which one is that? (dumb question...but new to lexus)

ah...thank you. but do you recommend pulling speaker level signal from rear speakers or dedicated subs?

i supposed dedicated sub already has low crossover signals...and my amp has built in crossover to filter out high and mid range...

 

You know I was thinking about that myself....I would seriously try both and see which sounds better...

 

please let me know if either of you installed your subs i want to do the same please let me know how you did it if you pluued the radio or just taped into the sub in the back
