Default A new ride

Well I finally found a replacement for the 03 Sand Dollar Pearl which we owned for 4 months before my wife was run off the road and the vehicle was deemed a total loss (pics in urgent please read thread). We found, our first color choice, an 04 Blue Merridian Pearl with everything but the kinetic shox option. The dealer had a model on the lot with this shock set up, but it didn't have anything underneath for towing, not even the 6 pin connection hook up. I took this as a sign it wasn't meant for hauling.

We should pick her up next week.

Drew,

Enjoy your new ride. Drive it in good health. I really just love mine. I have an 06 loaded and for now on this will be what I will drive.

Congratulations on the new GX

I believe that the kdss option back then interfered with the towing options hence you can only have one or the other from factory. Owners that have the kdss went with aftermarket towing that I remembered reading from here.

How did you like the kdss as compared to your previous gx without it?

Congrats on the replacement. That is the same color we have and absolutely love it. The pearl specs make for some nice head turning as it shifts through the various hues of color.

I never drove the KDDS truck; might not have been a bad idea but I was strapped to get back to work that day. I will post some pictures of the new ride later next week.

Picked up the new car last week. It's in great shape. I do have to say we missed the "GX".

Funny thing, this one clunks even more than the other. Can't wait for our parts to come in which we happened to order for the previous GX.

Thanx Silver Lady. The wife is once again happily behind the wheel of her GX. I forget, but how long did it take your dealer to get your Clunk parts in?

My parts took over 4 months, but they were ordered back last July.

If you check over on the stickied "clunk" thread on top, you will see all kind of answers as to how long it is taking now. It seems to be hit and miss.
