Cheap headrest dvd solution -- especially for '07+
Our Toddler deals with long car trips much better if she has a show to watch, so I broke down and bought this:

Suede sleeve securely mounts it to the headrest, and the dvd player is part of the screen. Run your car charger up to the dash and you're in business.
Even better, find a male/male mini-plug connector and play it through your iPod input if you have an '07+.
Good sound video without tearing up the car. Not bad for $250
