Hey all,

Thanks to the help JohnAMG, Zube, others the Sirius install should not be an issue... however I was wondering if anyone installed BOTH Sirius AND XM tuners since the system allows for more then one SAT radio (SAT1 and SAT2). Also having two harnesses (ie two Y adapters) back to back is a problem or not?

BTW: what are the part numbers for the XM radio install?

I believe Sat 1 and Sat 2 are for the preset station groups on either XM or Sirius. Not both. Just like there is FM 1 and FM 2.

 

Can anyone verify that indeed Sat 1 and Sat2 are preset groups and not 2 different tuners?

 

Sat 1--Sat 2=station settings just like BobsGX said.
