Default Programming key to unlock all door

Hello,

How do I program the key to unlock all doorsby pressing once instead of pressing twice? The manual say consult dealer but I am hoping it is something I can performance easily myself. My Mercedes keys allow me to reprogram the key in seconds. Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I had the Dealer perform the programming for free when I took the car in for it's Complimentary Service.

Same here. I had a few of the LPS (Lexus Personalized Settings) changed along with the very little known ability to keep those darn DRL's (Daytime Running Lights) turned off by my dealer on the first free service. Of course, I had to point the tech to the proper volumn and page number in the service manual.

Thanks for the response. I guess I will wait until the 5000 miles service. My wife prefers the unlock all method and she is bugging me about it. I preferred the driver's door first for security reason. I am leaving for Boston MA Tuesday and I can't wait for the long but comfortable cruise in the GX470. Now I only hope my 2 young babies will be cooperative.
