Default 4300 or 6000hid's??

Hello all...trying to make a decision on which output and color to go with...i know that the 4300 produces aprrox. 20% more light but I am wondering what this means in the "real world" ...for those of you that have installed the xenon depot 6000 in your opinion how much "better" is it. than stock...and for those who have installed the 4300 are you wishing you went with the 6000 for the bluish purplish color? thanks for your replies...

Hi Cat,

I purchased the 6000K kit, I know the 4300k is whiter, but, I wanted the slight "bluish" tinge... I didn't just want Bright white, that said, I find the lights adequate, definately brighter than the Halogens...

I put in the 6000K kit from Xenondepot recently. I have had 4300K, 5000K and now 6000K from them (for different vehicles). I like the 6000K color the best. Extreme white!!!! And there's enough lumens to light up the road and everything else.

If you do install the kit, I also recommend changing the small 168 bulbs to LED, to complete the look. Good luck.

Default 4300 is perfect!

The 4300 kit is perfect - it looks like the factory projector xenons from Lexus (RX330, slightly blue). You can tell a difference when the RX330 has xenons vs halogens. The 4300 kit looks like the RX330 xenons. If you like the xenons on the RX, you will love the 4300 kit. It looks factory. The 6000s are too blue and don't look like factory xenons - you can tell they are aftermarket. The 4300 kit has the perfect color match of factory xenons, and the light output is astonishing.

I have to agree with bscottj on the looks. I put the 6000k kit in my father-in-laws GX and then bought the 4300K kit when we bought our GX. I'm happy I went with the 4300. The 4300 put much more light on the road at night. I bought them so that I can see as well as the lights on my factory HID's on my RX and not so that people go, "Wow, they're cool". I can't tell you how many people have asked me when they started putting factory HID's on the GX.
