Dvd Navigation
I had a GS400 with Nav. if im correct this Nav. in the GX is very different from the GS i had. The GS has a HD Nav. and the GX has DVD Nav. Is this right? Is the dealer going to give me some type of software(DVD) when i pick up the truck or is already in there ? what generation nav. is this? If this nav. on this truck going to play DVD movies when im park somewhere ? Where is the DVD Nav. on the truck to change to movies? https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...hreadid=136847

The GX is in fact DVD Navigiation.
The DVD comes with the truck and is located in the unit, under the passenger seat.
The 03-04 GX's have the generation 3, the 05 is supposed the have Gen 4.
The nav screen will only play DVD's if you have the Rear Entertainment System option. Once you do, you can control it from the Nav screen by pressing Disc twice and then pressing the picture button (sometimes it comes on immediately and doesn't require pressing the button). As you said, you need to have the parking break on and vehicle stopped.

In the software the 3 is a version number, stands for 2003.1. The 4 stands for version 2004.1.
