I like the look, very similar to Mercedes-Benz ML.

It would be even better if they offer the back guard

I like it. It looks cool. Just what the front end needs.

It would interfere with my K40 receiver which just happens to be mounted in the bumper towards the right center

Default Ugh...

Don't like it. Think it breaks up the clean look of the front end. Especially if you live in a state that doesn't require a front license plate where the frame can be removed.

I think the boxing look of this bar against the rounded look of the vehicle is what makes it look so good. It organizes the unorganized. It sets order in the place of disarray.

Default Nothing personal David, but...

That guard would be fine if you live in Colorado & run a white water rafting company out of the Frazier Valley. Also for someone who doesn't need to shave except on weekends, needn't own a tie & runs up an annual dry cleaning bill in the $25 range.

It's very macho, but kind of flies in the face of the sleek, button down image that Lexus tries to portray.

No worries though, to each his own!

Default Actually...

I'm looking for something to prevent from getting a dent.
New York City as you know, most drivers don't care whether hitting other cars when they park.

So other than that, do you have some good recommendation to protect my GX??

Default Sport Bumper Trim

This is a sport bumper trim that is available at the local dealership. It retails for around $500 US plus installation ($699 US installed, I think). It looks really sharp and is color keyed, except for the chrome accents. But for those who are thinking of installing a front end mask, this will not fit. If you are looking to protect your front end, I would get a clear invisishield-acrylic/urethane 3M paint protector ($100 for simple hood and grill kit to $500 for full kit) or a front end dealership mask ($184). Attached is a pic of the sport bumper trim.
