Who has installed a throttle response controller?
I am interested in hearing from anyone who has installed a throttle response controller. I am looking at a very nice '09 470, and want to know if anyone has installed a throttle controller. My areas of concern are:
1. What brand and model did you choose?
2. Was install fairly easy?
3. How effective was the product?
Thanks for any answers you can give me.

I appreciate that, Chip. Seems like a lot of people are using them on the 460's. I have not yet driven a 470, and am just asking questions I am curious about before I decide between a 470 or 460.

I installed one on our 5th gen 4Runner, and it made a huge difference in how it drove, and the perception of power on tap, would 100% recommend. It was a sprint booster. Install was very easy, the most important step is to wait with the door open till the canbus system powers down before installing, or you'll get a CEL from it.
On my '04 GX470, I've never felt the need. It's a much better TBW calibration from factory. The GX460's need them way worse than a GX470 does.

Thanks, Ian. I have heard that now a couple times, though someone on another forum said it made quite a difference. I know a lot of the "feel" varies by who is commenting, and what they were expecting.
