Ordering a Silver Pine C series GX470 and trying to decide between the dark grey and ivory. Wife is partial to the Ivory. Have SC430 with light interior. I am leaning to the dark grey with thoughts that it will hold up better for wife and 2 yr old daughter. Any thoughts or real-life experiences would be appreciated.

 

Great color combination, silver with grey all the way. My buddy got the same color combo for his wife who got 2 kids( a 4 and a 1 years old). He loves it because the grey interior is a lot easier to clean hard to see the spot than ivory.

 

I felt the gray was too somber. I ordered silver w/ ivory and don't let the dogs ride in it.

 

have the ivory leather as it goes much better with the wood trim

 

Don't forget guys he got a 2 years old daughter. Please think about a mess with the light color interior can do to your car and your have a 2 years old daughter in the back seat. A LOT OF CLEANING.

 

I agree with VVT-i, the dark grey hides the mess easily and adds great contrast to the Silver color.

 

Finally put a deposit down on the Silver with the Grey...the color contrast with the grey seats and the light wood stands out much more than the ivory with light wood (imo)...i really wanted the ash blue with grey but now after seeing the color combo in person the silver with grey works well.

charcoal interior is great. You don't easily see the dirt. When i went in for a oil change once, I checked out the other gx470s and saw that the handles where you would normally hold on already had grease marks or dirt on it. Charcoal interior makes it look more sporty, especially on an SUV. i agree that ivory works well for the wood trim.
