Hey Yall,

I've searched the forums and see that this issue has popped up for many, just wondering if there is anything I may have missed in my searches.

The screen went out the other day and it hasn't come back on in my 2008 GX. The radio and air buttons below the screen are still working. I can switch between AM/FN radio and hit the seek button to change the channel. So amp must still be functional

Below are all the items I've done to try to troubleshoot it.

• Unplugged battery and did a hard re-set
• Checked all the Fuses that were easily accessible in the engine bay and interior with a multi-meter. All fuses seem to be working fine.
• Amp is still working since I can hear AM/FM radio. Air is still functioning, but I can change the fan speed or turn on AC since that's handled in a touch screen menu.

I wonder if the screen just went bad, or maybe a wire or plug has come loose? Seems like a lot of work to get it off to inspect it.

Curious if you all have any other suggestions for me.

 

Likely the backlight failed. If you are good with electronics you can order a replacement screen + digitizer from ebay.
