Default Drivers side A/C blowing hot

2009 GX470, just having a problem with the drivers side temp, just blows hot. Passenger side blows cold and rear blows cold. Anybody heard of this ? Is there a temp blend door for each side ?

There is, and they do go bad, but the most common cause is low refrigerant. Visit an A/C shop and get the system checked.

If the system was low on refrigerant would it not affect the passenger and rear also ? they work fine.

it's a symptom of low refrigerant. check the glass window from the front, if you see bubbles or frosty, then buy a can of refrigerant around 18 oz and top it up. I just did mine and all good.

You would think, but that's how this problem presents itself on the GX's at this age.
