Bought this GX 470 2005 with 201,000 miles has codes P0418 and P2445 air injection pump issues..I had similar issues with a sc430 I had spent thousands of dollars, never seemed to fix it. My question, if I have emissions deleted from ECM will that fix the problem?
Not sure how you would delete emissions from ECM.
Typically, as these vehicles age, the SAI system will fail and trigger those warning codes. Hewitt makes a bypass that turns off the pump completely to keep the system from activating. On a normally functioning SAI system, it only runs for a few seconds at start up to help with emissions on cold starts. This bypass in no way affects your emissions status or interfere with you passing emission testing.

I ordered the Hewitt bypass, not arrived yet..I found a ecm tuner that can eliminate the emissions from ecm. Wanted to get myself more information before I go that route.
