So I lifted my 09 gx470 2.5 inches with the Eibach kit and air bag delete. Well after sometime my brake line tore and I had to get that fixed and the mechanic told me whomever installed the coils did not secure whatever cables were left over and maybe that caused the brake like to tear idk. But now that I got it back. It’s making a rattling noise like it’s going to fall apart and it’s coming from underneath in the front as soon as I accelerate. The steering wheel shakes bad now as well. The tires and wheels are new with under 500 miles. I parked it immediately as it felt like it was going to fall apart lol it sounds worse now from that video .

 

Did the mechanic ID the source of the problems?

Maybe CV joints let loose? Transfer case issue? Is it stuck in 4x4 w/o indication it's in 4x4?

 

So come to find out the shop probably wanted to get money off me. Took it to my mechanic and he found out it’s none of what they told me. He said it’s the differential . He doesn’t work with transmissions so I made an apt at the transmission shop. I hope it’s nothing expensive !

 

He doesn't work on transmissions, but what does the trans have to do with differential?

Trans, xfer case, U joints, diffs, cv joints. All sound like they can be culprits.
