I drained a small amount (probably 3 quarts) from my 2009 GX 470. I wanted to ask if it would work to replace the same amount through the WS transmission fill plug. I have a hand pump and wanted to avoid running the new fluid from the front of the vehicle. Thanks!

 

Thant is the way to go. I filled the fluid through the transmission fluid cooler hose to be easier.
