Looks like you got hosed. Good luck getting them to owe up. They may refuse outright, and you'll have to go to small claims over it. Just beware if it comes to that, you'll have to find a way to prove they caused the damage which seems will be difficult.

Best bet is to have a talk with the owner, if they're still not being reasonable with you threaten to expose their poor service all over the car forums for every make on the internet.

I bet I'll be in the same boat and not get any compensation! I wish I knew this prior to taking the car home because I saw the dark spots, but just thought it was wet tint. Mine isn't as bad though.

so i ended up trying to contact the owner, he just kept disconnecting my call after 2 or 3 rings... so i eventually called his brother in law who's his partner...

i was so pissed off, i let him have it over the phone and he eventually ended up saying "we did heat the tint but the defrost lines just came off so easily"

so within 24 hours, the story went to THAT^ from the owner originally saying "i dont have a picture of what it looks like before, but the tint came off so easily, defrost lines couldnt have come off"

so lets just hope he replaces my glass, i have lexus oem glass on there now so i expect the same glass put back on

Look into this if you don't get anywhere with them.

Yeah. I had 35% tint and wanted to put on 15%. Now I wish I just left it alone.
