Any tips of removing drivers main power window switch?
Hey guys I'm going to try to fix my oddball issue I've had lately. I have reason to believe my drivers window switch decided to crap out because I'm not able to roll up or down any windows but my own drivers one. It almost seems like maybe the window lock is stuck but I can open any of the windows using each of any of the doors except the main switch.
Anyway I got a used switch and I'm looking on figuring out how to take it out. It doesn't look like a snap in type like most cars I've dealt with. Do I have to remove the whole door panel to get access to it? Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance.

Hol on before u do anything u will regret, first of all when you
Turn off you're battery you have to readjust the windows. You have to manually put down each window seperatly from they window switch all the way down holding it and then all the way up. I had same EXACT problem when my battery died. Just incase i confused you go to the passenger window and roll it down holding the down button until its allmthe way down. Then hold the button rolling up the window until its all the way up. Once that is done check and see if the automatic function works on passenger n drivers side.

Whoa thanks for the wise tip, I did not know that. I'll try that when I get home. Thanks!
That explains alot because it did stop working just around the time I disconnected the battery to service the air cleaner box, spark plugs, clean the throttle body and reset ecu. I didn't notice right away because I rarely open the windows on the gs since it's been cold lately and frankly I like the quiet serene envoironment when all windows and closed listening to my favorite tunes instead if wind noises lol.
The fact that the buttons needing programming all start blinking is supposed to be the clue.
Also don't forget the moon roof and, if you have them, the parking sensors.
