Default New or Rebuild Coilovers?

My '98 GS300 came with JIC coilovers. They're pretty much shot so it's time for an upgrade. I contacted JIC and they said a rebuild would cost $150 each, plus S&H. After reading several threads, I am at a toss up of getting a new set of Megan EZ's, which will be around that price, or rebuilding the JIC's. Chime in people.

i'd rebuild, JIC is some quality stuff.

will they deal with u on shipping or is there any place closer to home? (shipping those things out would be crazy money wise)

That sucks, I haven't heard too much about JIC. Megan from what I hear aren't too good. I should be picking up some stance soon. Glad they're local.

rebuild the JIC, much better quality and you get to tell people you have JIC.

I'm not sure which model these JIC's are but I contacted JIC here in Cali and they will be doing the rebuilds. I do know they're 15 way adjustable so I assumed I could go with Megan's 15 way adjustables also. Thanks for the info guys.

JIC FTW!
I have these and went through the process of rebuilding. I would recommend it!
Im in WI and shipping was not too bad.. so for you in Cali it shold be much cheaper.
They ride great and can go loow!

Lol. Sorry I'm new to the Lexus scene so I wouldn't know the difference between the quality of JIC and Megan. However, thanks for the input everyone. Rebuilding the JIC's it is...JIC FTW!! Now I need a set of struts to run on while the JIC's are being rebuilt...lol. Thanks again everyone.

You have made a wise choice. Worst case rebuild and sell them for GRAND, pocket $400 get yourself some Megan's. LOL.
