Default A/C Blowing through Winshield only.

So my A/C isn't blowing through my Vents, its only blowing through the Windshield Vents - nothing happens when you press the Mode Button. When I start the Car, it makes a weird deep humming noise from the Center Vent area - goes for like 17 Seconds and then stops.

Anybody has advice on fixing this? I live in Miami and this isn't "cool".

Thanks -

It sounds like the servo motor needs a cleaning or it needs to be replaced.

you gonna have to change the mode servo. If you're lucky, you can play around with the modes until it goes back the way you want to, but you still going to have to change them.

you even made a similar post in 2008 so let me ask you this, did this come about AFTER replacing the servo's from the problem in 2008 or did u never replace them?

All good man, thats why I edited my post.

I just thought I'd start a new one, I've never been very consistent with the problem, just brushed off the 20 seconds of annoyance. But now its sucks to be driving is 99 degree weather with a frosted winshield and the wipers on........

The Servos have never been touched in my car, so I'm wondering now which ones could it be - I saw the direction you sent me in talked about a Driver and a Passenger. You can feel a little bit of air coming through the side dash vents but not much at all.
