Default Sport Design steering ecu

Hey all, i have a question do 03 sport designs gs300s have a ltuned steering ecu?
I have a 01 gs300 i just wanted to know before i pick it up. Is it worth the money would it be a upgrade at all?

when i bought my gs430 i found out that all gs430's have the l-tuned steering ecu but i dunno bout the others. it took alot of digging on here,google, and other sites to find out bout this though. so u might be able to snag a gs430 steering ecu and use that

Does a 430 steering ecu plug and play into a 400?

Based on the research that i did when i bought mine, YES the sport designs do come with a sport tuned ecu. I can say for sure if it is the l-tuned though.

I think all 2GS from 2002 and up have it standard. Lexus realized that the steering was too soft on the earlier ones and just put it in all of the GS from '02 on.

I have the l-tuned steering ecu and yes there is a difference. It def. got tighter and the looseness of the steering went away.

You said you cant or can say it was l tuned?
do you think i should get a sport design one for $90
have you head of what jeff was saying?

I got the SportDesign ECU.

9/97-1/02 = 89650-30570
1/02 + = 89650-30610
SportDesign = 89650-30600

I don't know what they are going for, so i can't speak to cost. I was able to get my l-tuned ecu for $25 from a member on here.
