anyone try these aftermarket power sunshades?
so recently i tracked down a company in china that sells power sunshades that screw into the deck lid just behind the rear speakers, all you have to do is angle it and adjust the height it goes up and tap into something with a power source in the rear of the car. it is raised and lowered via a remote or you can wire it into a switch. so finally i was able to locate a dealer in the us who sells them for about 180.00. do you think its worth it? or do you know any other options? id like to get something that was incorporated with the car so it looked more factory. thanks.
they look cheap as it is a cheap crappy product , they do not fit and look luxury they look as good as lovers on the outside of the window looks. Never mind they bounce around when you drive.

They make one for the Toyota Aristo in Japan... I had one for my old GS that I never was able to get hooked up using OEM connections, so I gave it to a former moderator on CL who put it on his successfully by wiring directly.
I suspect they're harder to find now, but here are the old threads

lol i actually like that shade cool that it retracts when u in reverse although with my dark tint i def dont need it
I wouldn't mind having one of these on top of the tint that I already have, will def. help keep the car cooler in the summer. Now just need to find one that isn't tacky and cheap like the Chinese ones. I'm guessing the OEM Aristo one's are gonna be $$$
It is a nice idea but poorly executed in design as it is universal . If it fit better it would be much nicer. Compare it to a car with an OEM set up like a benz and you'll see the difference.
