Default Ebay junk.. What do you think?

Ok. I've got a LS430 retro in some REALLY ugly housings. I was going to spend the ~$600 on a new set of housings and retro those. But then I remembered, they came out with a cheap aftermarket OEM "quality" (as they say) headlight for our car. Should I just get them for $300 and remove the chrome and lenses and put them on my retro? you think they would fit on my originals? Now the ones they sell are only for NON HID head lights, but I want to keep the auto leveling functional THUS the reason I want to switch the parts on them.

Any ideas or input on this? What are your thoughts?
or other suggestions? thanks

I would think that they would be prone to fogging and leaking. I guess my question is whether or not half the price of the factory piece is worth the cost savings in the end (i.e. labor time to switch things over to the new unit).

what do you mean by ugly housing? Are your lenses screwed up? If your lenses are the problem and you are willing to wait TopHat one of the vendors here is pioneering replacement lenses for the gs. Contact him and check on the availability.

fogging and leaking isnt caused by the lenses, its the seal around the housing.

Yea, I've heard about the lenses, but thats really the least of my problems. The main problem is the chrome. its lost its shine and color.
